Why This Site Exists
Augusta-Richmond County is consolidated, but its records are not kept at one desk. The Superior Court clerk holds deeds, liens, trade names, and many case files. Probate Court handles estates, marriages, and local vital service. The assessor connects parcels to reported owners, while the Board of Elections keeps the local voter file under Georgia law. State licensing, business, corrections, and archival systems add more paths. We organize those sources by purpose and explain which custodian can verify the result.
